The residential orientation camp, 2023 was organized by Lourde Institute of Science and Technology (LIST) at Samskrithi Sahajeevanam Eco-Musement Park,pattuvam, Kannur Dist. for the first semester UG students, the camp provided an opportunity to connect with nature, develop team-building skills, and enhance their understanding of environmental conservation. The camp was held from 7th September 2023 to 8th September 2023. The faculty in charges were Ms. Shalu Devasia and. Principal Dr. Anoop Scaria and other staff members had visited the camp site to encourage the students.
On November 7, 2023, students from Lourde Institute of Science and Technology visited Malabar Innovation Entrepreneurship Zone, Mangattuparamba. The visit aimed to familiarize students with industry practices and explore start-up concepts, emphasizing the convergence of IT, business, and innovation. Exploring Mizone's cabins provided hands-on insights, linking academic knowledge to practical applications. A comprehensive session on start-up methodologies, including IT and business strategies, encouraged students to contemplate solutions for real-world issues. Engaging with Mizone experts allowed students to seek guidance on start-up essentials. The visit left an indelible mark, shaping students perspectives on IT possibilities, inspiring future start-up ventures and fostering innovative solutions to the societal challenges preparing them for entrepreneurial dynamics.
